During March, the only thing as bad as frozen beef is frozen content.

This March Madness, we’re turning to a shared enemy…FROZEN, to remind everyone there’s only one way to make the best hamburger… FRESH.

TV

Streaming live sports is more popular than ever with platforms like YouTube TV and Hulu. But just like our competition, Wi-Fi often fails us at the worst moments. During the tournament, we released commercials that intentionally froze mid-play, recreating the all-too-familiar "frozen rage." Each glitch was followed by a clear and simple message: Frozen Sucks.

Partnerships

QSR brands often partner with relevant athletes to promote a new meal. We decided to do the same, but with a classic Wendy’s twist; we sponsored equipment managers for keeping their teams as fresh as we keep our burgers in an NIL-style partnership. We even gave them their own meal deal, the Equipment Manager Meal.

Social

We rounded out March Madness by shooting some hoops and smashing frozen burgers with our fave influencer, Connor Wood.
